Should Youth Culture being deemed as an imperative movement that triggered an array of transformations which were of paramount importance to the world, or conversely, should it be considered as an attempt of increasing consumerism? There are divergent views on this issue. On the one hand, the first text highlights that this movement, which took place in the Western world, had an impact in cultural, political, and spiritual terms. In regard to the detractors of such movement, it is said that never before have they been so offended by some issues such as the new music, trends in clothes and political and social ideas, just to mention a few. At the beginning, only few people known as radicals were involved, not withstanding, what happened at the end was that young people became imperative and even being under 30 was regarded as a virtue. On the other hand, the second text highlights two opposite views regarding Youth Culture, a movement which started in 1960. Where as some argue that this consisted in the apparition of more and more products available for the youngsters, with the aim of spiking the consumption rates. The detractors considered this to be a new tendency which had different styles. They tried to display social, as well as economic conditions of young people. In addition, they wanted to show their experiences and their ambitions towards this movement. There is no denying the fact that throughout this period young people found a myriad of ways to convey their opinions. The reason they did so was because they wanted to be taken into consideration. Were you to want to know more about their ideals, you could listen a wide range of music that was composed in the 60. What you will find is that many people were discomfort with the government's decisions and they wanted to express their feelings towards music. It goes without saying that the more you acknowledge the events that precedeed such time, the more you will understand the lyrics. In conclusion, I would say that there is no doubt that this movement was of utmost importance. Had young people not been organized to make themselves hear, our present would have been completely different. This was almost perfect you just needed to replace some commas with periods to shorten some run on sentences. Also I reworded a few things so it would would a little better, but overall this was great good job:)
