Okay, since I'm on vacation now in Pittsburgh, the city I'm from, I can't wait to get a taste of some good Eat'n Park meals! It only stinks that this awesome buffet is only in the northeastern US.

I always wondered why certain places like these were only in certain parts of the country. Especially when it comes to Dairy Queen. I haven't seen a DQ anywhere in North Carolina yet, but they were all over Georgia. I want my DQ back, dang it. D:

I'd also love to try In-and-Out Burger or however you're supposed to write it because I've heard so much praise for it. Unfortunately, it's only out west.

I also heard that there's more Targets up north and more Walmarts down south. It might be true, because so far, I have seen more Walmarts down south and more Targets up north, even though Florida is the only place so far where I've seen a Super Target.

Lastly, I've also only seen the grocery store Publix in Florida and Georgia. I know it's only down there because my dad works in one and he told me.

What other location-specific stores and food places like these do you enjoy or wish would be built elsewhere? :3

I used to go to Eat N Park all the time, but coincidentally, I never had the buffet. usually because I'd always go at like 3am and food sitting around at 3 am scares me Location-specific stores and restaurants! - Zelda Universe Forums (5)
The baked scrod is delicious, though. Buttery as hell, but day-um good!

Oh really? I thought DQ was pretty much everywhere! that sucks! I LOVE me a misty freeze (or whatever they call it these days)! come to think of it, I have no idea where there's a DQ in my neck of the woods.... Damn, now I want DQ!!

I'd also love to try In-and-Out Burger or however you're supposed to write it because I've heard so much praise for it. Unfortunately, it's only out west.

ME TOO ;_____; Let's go on a road trip and eat at all the places us easterners don't get to enjoy! Del Taco, In and out, jack in the box (hear it's not that great thought). Wait, we'd both be like 800 pounds by the time we were done D:

I also heard that there's more Targets up north and more Walmarts down south. It might be true, because so far, I have seen more Walmarts down south and more Targets up north, even though Florida is the only place so far where I've seen a Super Target.

We have an abundance of both here in northern Ohio. Walmart is cheaper on a lot of things, but Target has nicer stuff, and their housewares and clothing suit my style better.

Lastly, I've also only seen the grocery store Publix in Florida and Georgia. I know it's only down there because my dad works in one and he told me.

Grocery stores are VERY regionalized. Ever shop at a Meijer? Big Bear? Giant Eagle? Kroger? Acme? Apples? IGA? the list goes on and on. (No Big Bears in Ohio that I know of, btw).

What other location-specific stores and food places like these do you enjoy or wish would be built elsewhere? :3

hmmm... Well I can't think of any, but I also think it's weird that sometimes the SAME business has a different name in different places, like Rally's is Checkers out west, and Hardees is Carl's Junior out west.

I want DQ too! CHOCOLATE CHUNK BLIZZARDS ARE THE BEST. D:

And I've shopped at Giant Eagle. They have it here in Pittsburgh. I know about Kroger's too, since there was one in the town I lived in before moving to NC. The rest of those grocery stores you listed I've never heard of though. xP

I also agree on the Walmart and Target thing. Walmart has nice prices, but Target has better quality and I always go for quality, which is why I love Target more (Target also always has everything I'm looking for, and Walmart doesn't). I always say if it's nice quality and you can afford it, buy it!

I wish Wawa was in AZ but it's only in NJ.

Also, In n' Out is great, you are really missing out.

Culvers' just recently came to AZ (about 2 years ago) but I guess they are mostly a midwest thing?

Shane's Rib Shack too, I guess that's a more common south thing.

AZ has equal parts Walmart and Target. Our Walmarts are classy places though, I **** you not. Like, nice fancy walmarts.

Oh also, are there AJ's Fine Foods in the Northeast/Southeast?

<33333 The best thing about living in California is In N Out Burger!

Theres a place downtown called Alfredo's that serves winnar mexican food. Also a place called Be's Wok and Sushi. I think its completely local because ive never seen another. This place offers chinese and japanese food.

In San Francisco, theres a bar called Wish. It has the most wonderful, beautiful, talented bartender ive ever seen! Her name is Leah and shes Latvian. Location-specific stores and restaurants! - Zelda Universe Forums (6) She has the most skilled hands with drinks ive ever seen! Its such a hole in the wall place, you blink and youd miss it. (its in the SoMa District, btw.) First monday of every month also is German Night. Complete with Germans, German beer, and guys with vuvuzela-esque horns! Its the best! I once went there where Leah wasnt bartending...its just not the same...

Also the DNA Lounge in the same city. <33333333

Similarly, one of the best things about being in Pittsburgh is Eat'n Park. Location-specific stores and restaurants! - Zelda Universe Forums (7)

Nothing beats AZ Mexican food Florina, sorry bby. We've got Macayo's, Manuels, and a TON of little shack stores that are A+ delicious. Plus the taco trucks sprinkled around downtown.

AZ also has a pizza place called Time Square that is just stellar. Literally everything there is delicious and the owner is SO friendly and stuff, if you have a weird request or something he will fix your food perfectly. I love that place so much! Every time Notsil is in town we go and get baked ziti, chicken Parmesan, wings, fried mozzarella (not the sticks. It's literally a battered SLAB OF CHEESE), and creme brulee. I don't have to eat for months. Years.

Im sure AZ mexican is superior. In fact, im willing to bet that SoCal mexican is superior than what we got up here in the hills. Its only logical the closer you are to the homeland, the mexican will be massively winnar! Location-specific stores and restaurants! - Zelda Universe Forums (8)

I do wish we had Publix though, they have one of the few store-made potato salads I actually like.

I've heard of Wawa. Isn't is kinda like Sheetz?

                          Never heard of it, myself.

Buffalo NY had this fast food taco restaurant called Mighty Taco. It's a billion times better than Taco Bell.

Our Wal-Mart is white trash central. I hate it. Its also like the only large department store we got in town. Yes people, we are without a Target. If i want to shop at Target, i have to go to the neighboring town. I feel like those people in that movie the Village. "Where are you going?" "To the towns....to shop at the place with the bad color..."

i've wanted to try an in-n-out burger since forever.

but hey, in my city we've got Halo Burger. De.Lish.Uss.

can't think of much more, there are a few more, ovsly, but in my city alone, only 3-4 are notable taht i can think of.
