What does the job entail?

As a customer contact officer, you handle questions and requests from end customers, counterparties, repair shops, experts and companies in the areas of underwriting, claims handling and finance largely independently. You are the first-line telephone contact.

Your challenges as a customer contact associate are:

  • To be an inquiry point for our end customers, counterparties, recovery companies, experts and companies;
  • Guiding your interlocutor regarding non-life insurance;
  • Charting complex requests where necessary forward to colleagues for further processing;
  • Creating claims files;
  • Recording complaints;
  • Learning every day about our products and sharing knowledge with our customers.

  • A fixed-term employment contract with the prospect of permanent employment and a gross full-time salary between €1,901 and €2,789, depending on experience;

  • A home office allowance (€2.15 per day) and a home office budget;
  • Staff discount on your insurance, mortgage, buying, selling and appraising your home.

What we ask of you.

You love customer contact, show interest, are empathetic, ask lots of questions and listen attentively. You stand firm and handle ad hoc work efficiently. Additionally:

  • At least a completed secondary school education;
  • Are you in possession of the diploma Wft Basis and Wft Schadeverzekeringen particulier or willing to obtain them at short notice;
  • Do you have good social skills and can work in a team as well as independently;
  • A good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.

You possess the following characteristics and competencies:

  • Stress resistant and flexible;
  • Assertive and proactive.
